Calling All Creatives

Build Films wants freelancers!

We’re a film production company born and based in Winnipeg, Canada.

We work to protect wild places and spaces. We produce media for and about National Marine Conservation Areas that are teeming with life from narwhal to mosquitoes to zooplankton. We’ve trained people in the Arctic how to fly drones to monitor whales. We’ve walked with polar bears for tourism ads and television shows. We work with students in the High Arctic producing videos about them, for them, and by them.

And, we’re in the middle of producing our first feature-length documentary, Breaking Ice: The Arctic Uncovered, set aboard an iconic icebreaker traveling through the Northwest Passage.

We’re busy bees over here, and we need your help. We’re looking to expand our roster of freelancers.

Are you a storyteller? A digital media designer? A communicator? A filmmaker?

Yes? We’re looking for reliable and talented people who have experience in:

• Shooting and editing videos • Creative development • Motion graphic design

Think you fit the bill? Send over your resume, demo reel/work examples, and availability to contact@buildfilms.ca with the subject line “Freelance 2017.” Or get in touch with us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and we’ll get to know each other a little better.

Accepting applications until noon on February 14, 2017.
